Vêpres Chorales

October is the month of the Rosary. The mysteries of the Rosary illustrate the main events of the life of Mary and her Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ. They are divided in 4 parts: the joyful mysteries, the luminous mysteries, the sorrowful mysteries and the glorious mysteries. HymnFest 1 will align with these traditions, presenting each mystery in sequence.

We are delighted to welcome Choeur Grégorien de Paris (The Gregorian Choir of Paris), a leading performer and promoter of this ancient art form, who will present in our first 2025 HymnFest (lecture and demonstration), marking one of the stops on their Asian tour!

Established for over half a century, this choir boasts around 30 members, including soloists who specialize in ancient art forms. They feature a diverse repertoire including chants and polyphonies from the renowned School of Notre-Dame and timeless motets by Palestrina.
